First off I’d like to thank my mommy for putting up with me for as long as she have. I know I can be very stubborn and a big pessimist. It takes a very tolerant woman to put up with me.
She’s always taught me to do what is right rather than what I have doubts about, I know I haven’t always listened to that, but when I have, the outcome has always been great. Thank you for that, Mommy.
Thank you for always being there for me. Through thick and thin. Thank you for always reminding me that my relationship with God is the most important relationship I can have.
As summer approaches and my over night camp job approaches, my ambiguity in being away from my mommy is at its all time high. The fact that I won’t be able to have conversations with mommy whenever I’d like to for the whole summer scares me, makes me nervous. She will no longer be in the next room doing her work, she will no longer be a text, phone call, walk down the hallway away. She will be cities away. I have to trust in God through this time, that I will fall on Him all the time. That I will pray more than ever to get me through these 2 months. And then when I get back it will be like I’ve never left because I’m going to fill her email inbox hehehe love you mommy!
